Singer/Songwriter Krista Earle has hit the Canadian and International Music Scene.
Her first single “Bad Hair Day” was released to Canadian National Radio followed by her single “Man Up” receiving heavy radio rotation across Canada.
Krista has a very original sound, a powerhouse of a voice with a sweet tone. Her music is a unique blend of catchy country/pop/rock melodies.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Krista has had a great passion for singing and performing from an early age, coming from a family whose talents were singing and playing numerous instruments.
Krista has a solid track record in performance.
Her musical journey began when she was contracted at the very early age of 14 to perform as a main stage Disney Performer for stage shows across Ontario which she continues do.
A numerous 1st place winner in Music Festivals, Vocal Competitions and Shows, performing at the CCMA’s Country Music Week, NSAI Tin Pan North, Canadian showcase in Nashville, including performing at the famous Bluebird Café, and Music Week in Toronto.
Krista Earle was a finalist in the International Songwriters Competition, and the recipient of the prestigious Government of Ontario Arts Award. Krista was represented in MIDEM at the International Music Festival in Cannes, France.
She was also nominated in the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards for Female Artist, Single and Songwriter of the year (2013-2014) and currently is nominated for Female Artist, Single, Songwriter and Rising Star of the Year 2015 for her single “I’m Done.”
Her single also reached International attention, tracking on both European and Australian radio.
Being trained vocally in many genres from Musical Theatre, to Pop, and R&B Krista Earle has worked with Professor and Masters of Composition Shannon Gunn at Humber College, Toronto, and trained with Canada’s top vocal coach Elaine Overholt of Big Voice Studios (Hairspray, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Ellen Show)
She is presently working with award winning producer, composer, and music director Glenn Morley in Toronto, Ontario, (Socan Director, Disney, Amy Sky)
Working with Nashville based songwriters, and producers she has recorded at Sunset Blvd Studios (Keith Urban) with two-time Grammy nominated hit songwriter and Dove Award producer Robert White Johnson (Celine Dion, Beach Boys, Faith Hill, Michael Bolton) and Grammy Award winning engineer, Gary Dales.
Krista has a huge passion for giving back. She shared her music story in Nashville based award winning author Joyce Knudson’s book titled “Music Throughout the Ages”, where she inspired other artists to persevere and follow their dreams.
An advocate for numerous charities, Krista works with the Sick Kids Make A Wish Foundation, United Way and Breast Cancer Services of Canada. In Nashville, Krista also participated in the Woman of Rock Charity Event aired on Television.
Also paying it forward teaching children vocals and guitar at a local Music and Performing Arts School.
Krista continues to be an active standing member of the Country Music Association of Ontario, and Canada (CMAO), Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Songwriters Association of Canada, and Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers and SAC –Songwriters Association of Canada.
Outside of music, Krista is a trained in International Ballroom Dance, and models for International Bridal Magazines including “Today’s Bride Magazine”
Her dedication and passion is evident in both her writing and performance. Her experience as a performer is evident when listening to Krista sing and watching her perform. With a large fan base and list of followers Krista is looking forward to finishing her album to be released this summer.
