Madi White is a singer- songwriter from Northern Colorado, who is currently attending Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
A bright young artist in the country music scene, Madi’s music is a pure blend of pop, country and a little sass. In 2012, at the age of 14, Madi began working with Nashville writer Melissa Fuller, culminating in the recording of her debut album Once In A Lifetime. Since that time, Madi has continued to write songs, working with noted and established Nashville based songwriters including Paul Stephens, an independent song writer; Keith Miles, from House of Trout Music who has written for Kenny Rogers and Great Plains; and Russ Kettle, a songwriter, producer, and member of the Nashville Based Band, Vinyl Sunday.
Madi’s debut album, Once In A Lifetime, was released in 2013 and was produced at Omni Sound Studios and CTM Studios in Nashville. Madi was fortunate enough to work with professional, seasoned Nashville musicians to produce a great first album. This album is currently available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby. The album’s 11 tracks range from longing ballads to upbeat love songs. From the first track to the last, it’s clear that Madi’s music is full of powerful lyrics and rich textures that are a fresh throw back to the music of Carol King and Sheryl Crow.
Since the release of her album, Madi has continued to mature and with this maturity her sound and music have continued to transform with songs like Not So Loving Memory and her new demo Tonight I Pray. As she balances college with music, she has developed a strong base of support from colleagues in Nashville.
Madi has performed live in various venues throughout Nashville in places like the the Commodore Grill, the Douglas Corner Café, and 12th and Porter, as well as other Writer Rounds throughout the city. With support from Pro Music Academy, she has performed at the Hard Rock Café and The Listening Room Café. Armed with a growing collection of strong songs, Madi’s live show takes her music to the next level as her strong stage presence, filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of attitude complete the package.
In 2016, Madi will be working with Go Long Entertainment and will work with Sherrie Austin and Will Rambeaux to refine and expand her songwriting repertoire.
She looks forward to working with songwriters of this caliber in the years to come.
